My Current Wip

I started working on Christmas Dreams by Joan Elliott. I chose to start with the blue one on the silver sparklie aida. I've been stitching for at least a few minutes almost every day.

This picture shows the sparkles in the fabric quite clearly. It is a beautiful fabric.

This one was taken without a flash so that the sparkly bits wouldn't be so bright and the stitching itself would then be more visible.

I am really enjoying stitching this design. It isn't too complicated and I love the way it grows fairly quickly.

For anyone that was wondering why I never posted winners for the PIF I posted about the answer is fairly simple, I only got 1 response from a non-stitcher. I wasn't sure how to handle this or what I wanted to do. She is more than willing to join in but as she is a writer and doesn't stitch she isn't sure what to send forward on her turn. I will be sending her something within the next 365 days and leaving it up to her whether to offer a PIF on her blog or not. I'm sure there can be PIFs that are not stitching related if people want to do that as well. Her name is Jo and she is a wonderful lady. Now here's hoping she likes what I send her. LOL

  3. The design was made specifically for the fabric and when you order the fabric you get the design. I wanted the design, so ordered the fabric LOL

Thank you Tam and Charlene, I am really enjoying stitching it.
